Hit and Run is a romantic action-comedy; brimming with witty dialogue, an entertaining story, and of course, great cars.

Wrapping up the summer with a huge exclamation point is The Expendables 2, an action extravaganza, on steroids.

I recommend this to mother/daughter outings, but most families will still get a beautifully animated movie, despite its stale plot and underwhelming finale.

From the gorgeous landscapes and set pieces to the eerie atmosphere and characters, everything works together harmoniously in PROMETHEUS.

Battleship doesn’t pretend to be anything but a big budget, sci-fi action bonanza. I’d like to emphasize bonanza.

Cohen is one of few comedians willing to laugh in the face of the conservative. With that said, this film isn’t as shocking as his previous character films.

The Avengers is the greatest superhero movie ever made. Joss Whedon has masterfully pieced together a puzzle, it is surprisingly well-paced and balanced.

My recommendation is to skip CHIMPANZEE, my son was equally as unimpressed with this Disney offering. Save your cash and head to the zoo instead.

Cabin in the Woods brings back the teen hack/slash of the 80’s and mixes it with a little bit of sci-fi voyeurism and then finishes gonzo – in your face.
