Disney is bringing the magic in 2020 with a diverse slate of original films and remakes. Marvel Studios fans will delight in the long-awaited Black Widow stand-alone film and MCU newcomer The Eternals. Pixar is bringing not one, but two original animated films in Soul and Onward. Mulan is the highly anticipated live-action remake of Disney’s animated blockbuster, while The Rock is expected to bust blocks in Jungle Cruise, inspired by one of Disneyland’s original opening attractions. Rounding out the menu is Artemis, The One and Only Ivan, and the very interesting Raya and the Last Dragon as Disney’s holiday selection. The only omission in Walt Disney Studios’ 2020 releases is anything Star Wars-related, but that’s to be expected as the studio embraces a “less is more” mentality.
