The 2022 edition of the SXSW Conference and Festivals has announced the World Premiere of Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto's WeCrashed in the festival's Episodic Premieres track. Visit SXSW's program details page for additional screening information.

I've found myself increasingly interested in the film and streaming interpretations of various Silicon Valley startups ever since, well, Mike Judge's Silicon Valley premiered on HBO several years ago. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Super Pumped, about the rise and fall of Uber founder Travis Kalanick, just started on Showtime and it's got me hooked. No doubt WeCrashed will have a similar effect considering the crazy history surrounding WeWork's meteoric rise...and fall.

The series is inspired by actual events — and the love story at the center of it all. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?
