Movie Reelist is thrilled to announce the latest 'Chatting During the Movie' event scheduled for Saturday, April 11th, 2020 at 10:00 PM ET. This is the only time it is completely acceptable to be chatting with your friends while the movie is playing, so be sure to join!

This week we are live screening Bong Joon Ho's Snowpiercer. This one stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinson and Ed Harris in a nightmarish (action-packed) trip around the world in a race against a freezing planet.

Why are we watching it??? I'm glad you asked! First, Bong Joon Ho absolutely dominated the Oscars this year with Parasite. So yeah, he's an awesome director and writer. Second, TNT is releasing their episodic series based on the material and with the same name, on Friday April 17th! Find details here!

Movie Reelist is going to be chatting during Snowpiercer with our fans. We'll be cracking jokes, reminiscing about the past, and sharing facts about the film from beginning to end. Until then, be sure you have the necessary apps and permissions installed by reviewing the instructions provided here.

This movie is rated R.

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon Ho (The Host, Mother), a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.
