Party on Dudes!

That's what the team behind Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter's latest adventure made clear after announcing Bill & Ted Face The Music will release this September 1st on Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) services and in select theaters nationwide. Excellent!

It's been a long time coming for Bill Preston and Ted Logan to finally unite the world with their music. Is there no better time than the totally heinous train wreck that is 2020? I don't think so. We can all use a little humor in our lives right now. But producers of the highly anticipated film wanted the movie available to as many people as possible at release. With coronavirus resurgent in the U.S. it became clear a theater-only distribution strategy would be impossible. So Orion Pictures is adopting the Trolls World Tour strategy of also making the film available at-home on PVOD. This will certainly upset theater owners but unfortunately we don't have a time-traveling phone booth to go back and correct our pandemic response.

Be excellent to each other by wearing a mask you guys! Bill & Ted Face The Music this September 1st. New trailer below!
